I know not truly Vera related but enough of us have Sonos speakers and Alexa. Sonos has released their Alexa skill. It’ still in somewhat beta but it looks to be working pretty good. You can select music, genres, set volume (1-10) or set volume using up and down. pause, resume, stop and skip.
You’ll need to update your Sonos system to the latest release and have an account on www.sonos.com
I’ve been using the excellent Sonos plugin to control Sonos and play Pandora or radio stations. I’ll be switching to direct control for that now. However, the TTS part of the plugin will still be as heavily used as it has been.
