So I could not wait any longer. I took courage, and to installed the Sonos plugin.
For someone who has never signed in to the Vera with ssh, it went surprisingly well. And everything works perfectly. It has been done a great job with this plugin . And it looks like this could take HA to a new level in my house.
I have some small questions that I hope someone could help me with.
Is it normal to make a device in Vera for every Sonos device that I have?
I have 6 zones. Should I then create a device for each of these?
I am exploring the “Say” command, and think this is a very nice feature.
When I am in the advanced tab in a scene, and choose “Say”, you get some choices regarding groups.
What should I put here if I want to make an announcement to all my Sonos devices?
What is the difference between group devices and group zones?

Yes.
With the last version, you have the ability for a device to switch from a Sonos zone to another. It can be a way to do it if you don’t need a permanent device associated to a Sonos.

GroupDevices is a list of devices id (Vera id) separated by a comma
GroupDevices is here for compatible reason with old versions
GroupZones is a list of Sonos zone names separated by a comma You can use value ALL to make an announcement to all your Sonos.
