Solid Power and Internet, no Ready LED / Ping & SSH OK / WEB can't connect

Ok Here’s the facts:

Attempted to set a new Door Lock code, wouldn’t load, couldn’t connect, saw no ready light, with solid Net and Power on the VeraLite G100.
Vera Login stated Failed to find Relay

When I connect direct to my PC, no DHCP is issued.
I set static IP and I can Ping, and open an SSH sessions on 192.168.81.1 (can’t perform any SSH resets or other functions since I can’t login) But web loads partially, but the spinning spokes, just spin. http://192.168.81.1/cmh/

Attempted to use one of the MANY reset procedures, why there isn’t ONE tested and working process makes me !@#$%^& livid !

[ul][li]Held reset in for 30+sec[/li]
[li]Single Tap and held[/li]
[li]Double Tap and Held[/li]
[li]Held while inserting power (This makes ONLY the ready Light flash, left it for 30 min, nothing happened, powercycled)[/li]
[li]Held with Power off[/li]
[li]Let sit for 6 hours no batteries and no AC[/li][/ul]

Now when I access the https://home.getvera.com/dashboard/myunits
No units are added, not the same behavior the last few times I reset the unit.

When I try to access it via https://192.168.0.100 (DHCP assigned) it loads partially, but the spinning spokes, just spin.

I have had the hardest time with this device, in the year I’ve had it I’ve had to re-add everything and configure it over 5 times.
So far I am VERY unhappy with it.

sounds like the firewall (NAT) was turned off, but DHCP is still on (or maybe dhcp off too, weird one, the unit has the dhcp range, but not your pc)

a reset would set this back, but basically the unit wont connect to the internet because it’s trying to connect to itself for internet access

I would call support, not sure of the command from ssh to disable dhcp or re-enable NAT, that way it uses your local routers DHCP again

I have the edge, and the reset is plug in, wait a few seconds, then hold for 30 seconds and release… but not sure if same for your unit

A support rep was able to send me two URL’s to enable Remote Assistance.

(Handy to know for those who would like to recover their root password when UI is unavailable.)

http://Vera_IP_Address/cgi-bin/cmh/tech_ra_check.sh?cmd=disable then go to: http://Vera_IP_Address/cgi-bin/cmh/tech_ra.sh

She then repaired the unit. Support was slow to initially respond, but she was successful in getting me back in. Kudos to her.

It’s still a burden, first attempts to login via web failed, I was able to get connected via LAN IP, firmware fails to update, SMS verification sends me a message but there’s no code, tried a second time, same thing. There’s my two SMS per day, don’t know why there’s a limit. I managed to add my Door Lock, I wonder if in a week it will forget my door codes again. Lucky for me the Door lock itself never forgets them. I don’t feel safe with my EverSpring smoke detectors alone, I also have a regular style in all rooms, looks dumb, but I sleep well.
