I’m fairly new at this & I’m looking for some assistance in having my smoke detector integrated thru a AD2USB device. Currently, I have an existing Ademco security system which is sending & recieving data signals through a AD2USB device. I can initiate away, stay & disarm both through the Micasaverde dashboard & my Verde Mobile app on my smartphone. When I trigger an alarm I recieve the notification on my phone as setup. However, what I would now like to do, is have my Vista 20P send a signal thru the AD2USB to my micasaverde controller when my smoke detector is activated. My smoke detector is a RF device and it’s setup as zone #12.
Try adding that zone with the cheat sheet to create a device in vera and set up a scence to send notification if tripped.
Thanks , it worked. I do recieve the notification that the Smoke detector has been activated, plus I still recieve a notification that there is an active alarm on my Ademco alarm panel as I should.
