This seems like a good deal at $50. It detects motion, movement (like a drawer opening) and temperature. Has anyone tried it with Vera?
The Aeon sensor seems similar, but costs much more.
If the motion detection is accelerometer based, and could be configured with with varying senseativety, then I could use some of these.
Smartthings uses Zwave and Zigbee, so I am not sure which this sensor is.
I think they could also probably lock it down to their system even if it were zwave.
All of SmartThings branded items use Zigbee (Multi sensor, motion, and presence).
I’m not sure we’re thinking of the same Aeon sensor (the 4 in 1), but on amazon it’s ~$52 ($57 from the seller who has prime 2 day delivery). Doesn’t seem that far off from the $50 for this sensor. Of course I’m assuming you’re in the US, and if you’re not, I guess I just made an a$$ of myself
