Hello All

I want to buy a TV (smart TV) i want to control my vera through this TV
Will you advise me with a smart TV which i can download an application to control my Vera?

I do not know of any smart tv that can control Vera. If the tv has a browser then you can use that. A tv that is Google TV capable can run my app.

A quick google search seems to pull up a few brands at Amazon for example (LG, Sony).

Personally I use the Logitech Revue. I bought it for $99 which was a steal and now it is even cheaper ($72!):

It runs googletv which as Garrrett mentioned is available build in to some TVs. Personally I would just buy the revue, which is exactly what I did!

I am only currently planning on supporting the android platform. It would be too much work and time for me to support a different platform. I believe there is an xbmc plugin somewhere that you may be able to use as a starting point for vera remote control.

I will read a little bit about the world beyond the UI’s (luup code, xbmc, etc) I think in this universe exists the solution for many troubles…
