Slow response - should I "heal", "repair", or "restore", and how?

Last weekend I installed six new GE dimmers and switches, for a total of 14 devices in my VeraLite based system. When I still had only 8 devices, switching scenes was nearly instantaneous, half a second at most. But now some devices take up to seven seconds to switch.

TL;DR version –

Where is the Repair/Restore/Heal option in the current interface? Or is a seven second delay normal and there is nothing I can do?

Detailed account –

I consulted the user guide, knowledge base and wiki. All of these sources mention a procedure that will rejigger the mesh network, but give it three different names: “repair”, “restore” and “heal”. And I can find none of them in the current user interface.

“Repair” is mentioned here:
http://support.getvera.com/customer/en/portal/articles/716646--vl-z-wave-troubleshooting
…but screenshots show a blue interface and a “Repair” tab under “Z-Wave Settings”, but my interface is green and there is no “Repair” tab. Presumably this describes a different version of the software than what I have.

“Restore” is mentioned here:
http://support.getvera.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1630803-settings-tab
It seems to describe the same thing, and the button it shows exists in the current interface, but clicking it prompts me to select a backup. Apparently I misunderstand what that paragraph describes - I wasn’t looking to restore from a backup but get the system to optimize the Z-Wave mesh routing.

“Heal” is mentioned here:
http://wiki.micasaverde.com/index.php/Heal_Network
…but I cannot find the “More Z-Wave Options” it mentions, or anything like it. Presumably this is for an older version of the front end software.

So - I’m confused. Where is the Repair/Restore/Heal option in the current interface? Or am I barking up the wrong tree, there is nothing to fix or optimize, and the seven second delay is perfectly normal?

Me too is experience very slow respond. Both power switches and siren is lagging big time. One of my scenes turns on 5 power switches and it takes between 15-30 sec. Not OK!

Excellent question about scaling up a zWave network!

I can see why polling all nodes and discovering device routes grows exponentially longer…
but activating node-XYZ is about sending zWave commands down known device routes.

I think fourteen devices is still very modest. I’m only just getting started.

All six new devices are AC powered, so I think they will act as repeaters. Should make the network more robust and/or faster, no?

All of a sudden my Vera Scenes are being delayed too. I have a light switch turn on three lamp modules and just this week this scene is being delayed by 30-120 seconds…

To answer your original question if you are using UI7 there is no longer a heal/repair option. If your interface is green it sounds like you’re on UI7.

Since installing my new UI7 VeraEdge versions (01.07.1320, 01.07.1419), I observe very important latencies (3-5 seconds) the sensor response Everspring SM103 (Wireless Door / Window Detector) .
Previously, the responses of these sensors were immediate.
This is very detrimental in my applications.
Does anyone has a solution?
