One of the reasons why I boughto into Vera was the option to have skinable interfaces, two years later and I am still waiting. However looking at the new website for MIOS, they appear to show it for corporate customers?
Come on guys, give us the chance to customise our skins, before we leave for other options like Fibro which has a really nice UI and nice box, I mean, what does it take to have the Vera Gateway in a different colour or even a different material?
MicasaVerde from what I recall never promised the ability to skin the Vera interface. You also have to understand the corporations that you see with tailored interfaces are deals made with MCV for special integration and most likely costs a ton of money. Think of the Vera as the base of MCV’s product structure and companies who want customized options would contact MCV to have them tailored to their needs. In other words the Vera would be used for OEM deals. Also some of those UI’s you see may be applications that use Vera’s api calls for integration. Just like what the iOS and Android apps use.
The default UI skin is not pretty at all, but even if it was skinnable I still would not waste my time trying to make it pretty. If you want to make a nice UI build a web page made for end-user interaction. The Vera’s default UI is for administration and a horrible end-user UI.
If you want to do something cool, run AutHomation on your PC using Bluestacks App Player or just get some cheap Android tablets to put around the house.
Just wanted to let you know that mios.com was never intended to be used by end users, as it was designed for OEMs. So every information you saw on mios.com was only for our OEM partners and not for end users.

Hi, good idea. How can I add AutHomation to the Bluestacks App Player (mac version)?
Thank you
