Sirens going off when door is triggered

Last night, we armed a device that shows up as a motion sensor.

Ever since then, whenever a different, unrelated door sensor is opened, all three of the sirens in my house go off.

I have no triggers on that sensor. There is a scene that will turn all of the sirens on, but it is manually triggered by other scenes (smoke detectors), and Vera says it’s never been run (I deleted it and re-created it).

Anyone have any ideas? I really can’t have this continue for long. I’m about to un-pair the sirens until a resolution is found.

Wondering if your issue is like mine?

Although only recently it stopped doing that. I have no idea why it happened and other than some reboots of the Vera for other stuff I never changed anything. The siren just stopped on its own from going off when the sensor I have was triggered.

That sounds like it exactly. I’m disappointed you received zero response.

This is absolutely crackers. I was patient with the Monoprice sensor thing last year, but this is the final straw.

And now my roommate is reporting that the problem magically fixed itself. No sirens are going off.

I’m done. I can’t have these things blasting my face off in the middle of the night whenever a roommate comes home. Unpairing for now, and looking for a Vera alternative.

LOL, I hear you and understand. I was a bit upset with no comments either but I did search for my own post and saw some variations of this same issue. It’s in the Lock, Motion, and Security Control sub forum.
