Ok, so once again I’m just not getting it.
Goal: Turn a light on (Appliance Module) at specified time and turn it off at a specified time.

I have almost the same setup for my garden lights and they work. It sounds/looks like your schedule isn’t triggering. I assume it works for you when you trigger the schedule manually?
Is your PLEG armed?
The only difference to my setup is the conditions where I have “sGardenLight” & “Not sGardenLight” instead of “sGardenLight==1” & “sGardenLight==0”

Do you think the “==1” and “==0” are no good? From what I’ve read (over and over and over again) I think is supposed too…
They should work … but a better way is:

cFish_Light_Off NOT s_Fish_Tank_Light_On
It looks like you are changing the status with the Do It Now button.
Make sure when you are don that you return the Schedule to it’s normal state.

I get this error:
PLEG_Up_Bedroom[33] : NOT s_Fish_Tank_Light_On: Invalid Value token: S_FISH_TANK_LIGHT_ON
The strange thing is the condition is not capitalized. I also tried !s_Fish_Tank_Light_On, but same error.
Nevermind, I found the error…
Changed the condition logic to above, and still did not turn on this morning.
It’s hard for me to tell what’s going on … you keep editing the schedule AFTER the events happened … so I can’ t tell what the previous schedule definition is …
I can see that it previously went ON on July 3rd at 12:00:00 and OFF at July 3rd at 18:00:00 … but those do not match your Schedule definition … so that means you changed it after that … I needed to see what it was BEFORE you changed it.
Maybe you should turn the LOG on (use the in it’s own file option) … So I can tell what it’s doing … vs what you are changing.

I don’t think I’ve made any changes to the schedule after my testing on Wed. The only change I’ve made was with the conditions as suggested.

By the way,… It’s turning the light off correctly, It’s just NOT turning the light ON…
Just a hunch but could be a race condition depending on the order of the lines?
There is a very brief period of time when both conditions are true, so it could be turning it on then back off immediately.
Try two schedules, one for on, another for off, or just have one scene that triggers on once per day with a 6 hour delay to turn off.

Do you mean the condition positions?
I just don’t understand why the existing setup does not work to turn the light on. I cant find if I have an error or PLEG is causing it. To me this should be a brain dead easy task for ANY program engine.
Post and updated report (After you let it run for a day without touching it).

How do you return the schedule to it’s normal state???
You can use Do It Now to toggle the schedule from On to Off to On …
It will also re-synchronize at the next schedule on (if currently off) or off (if currently on) scheduled time.

I followed Richards advice, and it is working fine now that I went through a full event cycle.
