Hi,
To some of you this may look as someone asking some stupid questions, but I’m just trying to understand a Zwave setup. It’s all new to me.
The picture in attached link is showing how i think it should be. I would like to make the following setup:
[ol][li]Tubular motor + Roller shutter control
→ I’m not sure what to take…a dc or ac motor. Can i just take any motor ?
→ For the shutter control i would like to use the PAN08-1A[/li]
[li]Veralite (attached to my router): to my understanding this must be a powerful controller[/li]
[li]Remote control: when at home, i would like to operatie the blinds with a remote … is that possible? Can I take any zwave remote?[/li]
[li]In the future i would like to have touchscreen that will allow me to operate all attached devices
→ is this a possibility …or just wishful thinking?[/li][/ol]
Is the a “feasible” system?..or just not possible to do. I’m only sure about the veralite, but don’t know about the other devices.
I’m planning to automate 11 blinds.
All info is welcome

Just to clarify, the shade/shutter motor controllers are for use with “dumb” or standard motors with settable mechanical limit switches (mains voltage). It does not work with motors that already come with a remote control and have an internal radio receiver (their controller is inside the motor). @mcalistair’s suggestion uses a different controller to trigger the dry contact control line (low voltage).
For specific motorization projects using z-wave, we offer native tubular motors, drapery tracks, low-voltage and dry contact motor modules, remotes.
