How do I install additional cameras?
Devices → Cameras → UpnpDevFilename: D_DigitalSecurityCamera1.xml → Add device
does not work.
This worked for me with a Panasonic camera.
devices → luup plugins → install/uninstall → locate the plugin and select install
Then it will show under devices where you can configure it. Then I supplied IP:PORT, MAC address, Username, PW.
Go to plugins and click on install generic IP camera… or Panasonic IP camera.
They only differ that Panasonic installs custom implementation file

What I was going to accomplish was to add an additional camera. The plugin was already installed. There was no option to install the plugin once more (just “Uninstall”).
I somehow managed to install the additional cameras by feeding UpnpDevFilename with
“D_DigitalSecurityCamera1.xml” and/or “urn:schemas-upnp-org:device:DigitalSecurityCamera:1”. The new cameras are working, but now I have empty phantom devices on the dashboard (not in the device view), which cannot be deleted.
The Wiki documentation is lacking/outdated.
That’s strange because I do have “install another camera” link, so I just installed few when I needed. I also didn’t have any phantom devices - once the device is removed from Device view, it’s gone
I also have the option to install an additional camera option under the luup plugins. Only shows if a camera is already installed.

IMHO - it’s a support ticket… or firmware update problem

I’d have to agree. I added the generic camera and it instantly gave the option to add another.
