Hello I have the Vera2 and just upgraded to the UI5
I understood my old Ui but having a little learning curve on the UI5
Im trying to simply set a scene to go off after 45 mins and find the new UI5 confusing

docs5.mios.com can be of help
First create your scene
select your device you want on
set your schedule
select your trigger (optional if just timed)
If in the same scene you want to turn it off
click on the immediate drop down and select manage delays
create a 45 min delay
select device you want off
save schedule
This is much better than the UI4 in that you can multiple on/off events scenarios within a single scene.
I agree UI5 (edited to clarify) much better but it took me a while also and a lot of digging to figure out how to do it.
UI5 seems to be better in some aspects but somewhat counter intuitive in others. Scene setup being one of them until you figure out how to do it. Which was more straightforward in UI4.
It’s more a lack of clear documentation issue than anything else.

I also found scene creation more intuitive in UI4 but UI5 is more powerful and probably quicker for scene creation once one gets used to it
That is the Achilles heel of Vera at this point. So much energy has been put into a smart architecture, software and functionality that the documentation has lagged seriously. This is why this forum is so valuable, but sooner or later it is going to bite MCV if this is not aggressively addressed.
I agree! New functionality is useless unless it’s clearly documented.
