Hi Guys,
trying to set up a Horstman CStat-11ZW (same as a Cstat-17/SCS317 except its 24 hr programming not 7 day).
I have used the Application Note APNT-57 to assist me, I now have a Thermostat Icon which shows the current temperature, but the Setpoint is not showing, the three buttons, Off, Cool Heat - Off is highlighted (I realise these buttons do nothing with this thermostat).
I have read on another site about a similar problem with UI17 not showing the Setpoint, and talks about adding a variable ModeStatus to heat On to get the setpoint to work. Ive tried it with this thermostat but I cant get it to work.
Anyone got any suggestions on how I can get VeraLite 3 to see the Setpoint?
As an update, I can now get the Icon to display the SetPoint temperature, and the Heat button is lit by following the instructions at [url=http://support.betaalbare-domotica.eu/en/get-setpoints-working-in-ui7-2/]http://support.betaalbare-domotica.eu/en/get-setpoints-working-in-ui7-2/[/url]
which adds a new variable called Heat Status.
However, The only time I get an update from the thermostat is when I select Send NIF on the tehrmostat. If I try and change the setpoint on the Vera UI, I get “waiting for node to reply after x retries” where x increases each time. Finally ending in “Error:Node Communication failed”
For info the thermostat is about 3-4 metres away in the same room as the Veralite.
