Can I set one of my buttons to arm/bypass a PLTS instance?
I have PLTS currently working well to turn off a set of lights in my media room if no motion is detected. The problem is that when we are watching a movie, there is little motion for some time, and the lights go out. I’d like to be able to easily/manually turn off (bypass) PLTS for movies.
You should be able to include the button as an input and then query the button state as part of the condition expression.
Or if you use Kodi/XBMC, you could include the state of the media player with one of the Kodi plugins and disable the light turn-off when a movie is playing.

Great idea! I don’t use Kodi, but I do have my Denon receiver setup as a device that I could detect use through PLEG.
