Is it possible to send custom messages to Vera and store them in Variables? I would like to use Tasker + AutHomation (or alike) to keep track of where I am and send updates to Vera, so I can use it on the Vera (PLEG) and its tools like VeraAlerts.
Just switching on/off virtual switches will not suffice, because I would need as much virtual devices as messages and it would become a mess. Anyone any idea?
VariableContainer is what you are looking for to store variables and have PLEG use them. If you are going to use AutHomation, you’ll need to use the Alpha version as this version has the ability to have tasker communicate with my app and write to the VariableContainer.

Appears to be working smoothly (Tasker > AutHomation > Vera VariableContainer). Great work on the alpha version!
