Session Expired everytime

Hi,

I’ve setup my vera edge a couple of months ago directly on UI7. The current firmware is 1.7.0.17.
Since this morning, each time i try to manage Something on the web UI i obtain a Session Expired error. I tried with different browser on different computers with the same result.
Regarding this i tried a factory reset using the hardware button with success.
After that, i still have the same error and i cannot finish the setup required after the reset.
Any idea on this ?

I’m facing the same issue on my Vera Edge. Direct logon to IP address expires within roughly a minute. Access via home.getvera.com stalls after successful login and selecting the controller. Was the ticket answered by Customer Care yet?

Same issue and I posted about it in a separate thread about 5 hours ago, there’s apparently a database update going on. So our Vera which is supposed to operate without internet becomes completely useless as far as UI is concerned till they finish. Really beginning to annoy me now, I only bought it because it was a popular one that don’t rely on internet for usage. Looks like that’s a bit of a white lie, it does rely on their servers if it’s connected to the internet!

Why would you say it’s a job for customer car that needs a ticket Marc?

Are you saying that we shouldn’t be suffering these issues during your database update?

Degraded performance? That’s an understatement. Should purely say, “systems down, don’t waste your time!”

Obviously Vera Control need to carry out routine maintenance but I previously thought that this would have no/minimal impact on my local controller but now it seems it does?

download ccleaner and remove all your cookies
restart… see if that helps you.
i had the same issue when i switched over to VP and it was all cookie based.

Thanks Mvader, tried that (only had to clear out the cache) and that cleared the problem for me.

Fyi guys, I’ve changed nothing and the Problem has disappeared this morning.
