I intend to use a “GBGS 1000 Uers RFID Reader & Keypad Door Access” unit as a card, tag or PIN unit to control a Vera based security system. I wish to use the keypad’s NC, NO output to switch the system “home” or “away”. I need to direct the units output to a device which can “zwave” to the Vera controller. I intended to use the contacts in a door/window sensor to accomplish this. Can anyone recommend a unit to do this that is known to work with a Vera unit? Thanks…
It’s always best to indicate what part of the world you are in as there are different product requirements.
I don’t think that I have heard of any door/window sensors that do not work with Vera. In the U.S. the following sensors are all known to work well and accept external inputs.
