Secure Thermostat SRT321 Inclusion Problem

I just bought a Secure SRT321 thermostat and trying to include that to my Vera Edge UI7 I had some problems mainly related to the fact that temperatures were NaN and it did not respond to my changes from the UI7. I made a reset to the Thermostat by placing the DIL switch 1 to on and then select P and double click. From that moment I cannot include the Thermostat to my Vera network, trying the proposed procedure (DIL switch 1 to ON, select L, put vera on inclusion mode, press L ) and nothing happens. Is there any way to solve this problem.

Does the thermostat enter Listening mode? To do this, set DIP switch 1 on, turn the dial until L is displayed then press the dial once. Li is displayed to show Listening mode is on. This should last for 60 seconds. Now you should be able to include the device on Vera. If this still doesn’t work, you may need to exclude it from Vera first.

Thank you Rex for your answer. As mentioned in my initial post I followed the procedure exactly as it is described. The issue is that the thermostat enters to listening mode (the L is blinking) but vera doesn’t include it. So after 60 secs when both vera and thermostat are in inclusion mode nothing is happening and the same is true when trying to exclude the thermostat. I checked the vera with another battery powered z-wave device (fibaro motion detector) and includes it correctly. So I think something happen to the thermostat after I reset it (setting DIL switch 1 to on, then selecting P and doublecliking). I dont know if there is any other way to make a hardware reset to the thermostat and I couldn’t find any support e-mail from secure to post my problem.

On mine, when they are in Listening mode, they show Li not L. Maybe they changed the firmware, though.

I have both L and Li, I tried both and nothing happens… >:(

Its incredible, I sent an e-mail to Secure describing the problem, no answer from them more than a week! What kind of company is that? Any other folk that could help me or shall I through the SRT321 to the trash and cry for my 100+ Euros?

I have two of these that work very well on UI5 but I haven’t tried them on UI7. You could try emailing support@getvera.com to see if they can help.

The vera support responded fast but they send me instructions that I already found on internet and did not work!
