Has anybody gotten the Section part to work? No matter what type of grafic I use for a section and upload, then the “Show floorplan” only shows a blank square… What have I missed? ???

Yes it does not work for me either.
The plan shows as ther thumbnail, but the show floor plan button gives an empty square…
I’m not sure where else this plan will be used though? ???

The floorplans for sections doesn’t do much now. You can position devices on it, but that’s all. We’ve got plans to do a nice touchscreen UI, and that’s when the floorplans will become useful.
From you r answer it seem sthat my vera behaves differently… “Show Floorplan” only shows a blank square… Should it show the uploaded graphic?
One day, when the “Floorplan” / touchscreen functionality gets fully fleshed out (and I realize this may be a long way off), it would be awesome if Vera could show a graphical Traceroute-style “mesh network hops path”.
That is:
(a) Allow the user to place a “Vera” icon, along with existing devices
(b) Add a “Show routing” checkbox option
(c) Whenever a command is issued from Vera, display a “connect-the-dots” path from Vera to the controlled device(s)
(d) You might consider a “Show polling” checkbox option, as well, so that devices blink when sending status messages, or when polled by Vera
I hope I’m not the only one who thinks this would be fun to watch!
