I am VERY new to the mi case verde system and home automation. I just received the Vera 3 and a few device to install. One of the devices I ordered was a Schledge deadbolt (model BE399). I assumed it would communicate via the Z-Wave technology but it appears that I need to sign up to Schledge’s NEXIA service and also buy a device called a “bridge” Is this correct or will the deadbolt communicate directly with the Vera 3?
Any help of instructions getting these two devices to talk to each other would be greatly appreciated.
