I am thinking of buying some Schlage Link Wireless cameras, the price seems responsible. Has anybody used them with Vera?
Thanks
Andrew

AndrewM,
I have experience with The Panasonic wireless cameras and the Linksys Model= WVC54GCA. Did not have good results with the Panasonic for a number of reasons until total failure. I have had the Linksys running since May, and it has been perfect in terms of reliability and performance. It also cost about half as much as a Panasonic. I paid about $90. I recommend it highly unless you wish to use the Linksys PC application for recording video. It is worthless in my experience.

I had rather different experience with WVC54GCA. It keeps disconnecting and rebooting all the time. Basically it’s never there when I need it. So I switched to icamview.co.uk cameras, they ship worldwide, and at their price I could buy a whole bunch of them. Image quality is better then Linksys, especially at bad light conditions, but not as good as of $500 Panasonic. However they are designed for monitoring, not for producing HD movies, and for this purpose the quality is totally adequate.
They work with Vera, or are you using the software provided with them? Which models have you tried?
Thanks.

I have just one WVC54GCA, and it keeps rebooting and disconnecting by itself - i.e. it completely disconnects from network. I even tried to connect it wired without wifi - nu luck. If you google for this problem you’ll see tons of complaints on this.
