I’ve got my Schlage lockset working fine (as much as I can tell), but I can not get it to send a notification to my email address when a certain PIN (set up in Scenes) is entered. Anyone have any detailed instructions to me how to do this? I thought I had it correct, but just not getting emails.

I abandoned the “Scenes” approach and entered the information directly in the “Notifications” tab of the lock in “devices”. Saved everything but still not notifying when a certain PIN is entered, or when an incorrect PIN is entered. Don’t know what else I could check. I know email notifications work in general, as my thermostat does sent them when triggered to do so.
is the lock in proper range to report to Vera?
In your scenes event tab,
What type of event is the trigger?: A Pin Code is entered:
Which PIN code number? This is the number corresponding to the user, not the actual code you use at the lock.
So “Which PIN code number?” would be 1 or 2 or 3 etc…You can find the User # under the Pin Codes tab for the lock. Don’t use the #. Using “0” would represent any user / and code.
Optional: Which of the following users should be notified when the event occurs?: of course would be checked.

THANKS JOD!!! That did the trick, and I had been working on this for an entire day! The “operating instructions” that Mios publishes I must say lack quite a bit in the way of explanations. Thank goodness for the forum!

JOD, you wouldn’t happen to know how to make a Trane thermostat report “energy used” where you select the days off the calendar? Even the Mios team accessed my system and could not get it working.

Calendar on Vera? No, I don’t know, sorry.
There is a thread here discussing how to view the graph that’s on the T-stat but I don’t believe it’s through Vera.
The only days of the week energy I’ve seen for the T-stat is for heat /cool run hours on the T-stat, you can access that with Menu, Done, Done and scrolling down to user graph.

That link is a dead end, other than it stating that MCV needs to enable the config variable before it’s possible to view the graph on Vera.

Im currently on holiday but keeping an eye on the forum.
I think i can find an hour or two to create a draft how to on the Schlage.
Problem is obviously that being on an EU System i dont have acces to the schlage locks.
Ill do a first rough draft but ill need major input from you guys, is that ok?
