Schlage Lock Pin Codes De-Identified

It looks like the problems that they had with the servers ended up replacing the names and PIN#s that I could view in my locks with #1 Code 1 ****, etc. I guess that I should be glad they were not completely erased but they don’t do much good if I can’t tell who has a pin code entered and who doesn’t. I Deleted all of the de-identified pin codes from one lock and replaced them with the appropriate name/#. However, when I tried to do that with my 2nd lock, I was able to delete the de-identified pins but only add one of the 7 new pins with name & #. Vera would tell me that the pin was already used if I tried to enter it twice but didn’t show it the new codes for at least 1/2 hr. From reading another’s post I realize that they may show up minutes to hours later. Too bad about the server problems this weekend.

I also had issues this weekend. All codes with a daily schedule disappeared. I tried to replace one and received the duplicate code message. I then added the first one back with a slightly different name. It Placed it in #1 slot. The missing codes have not returned. That means I cannot delete or modify them. Frustrating.

Had issues again with not being able to remove pins without restrictions. I had to exclude/reset to factory defaults/include one of my Schlage dead bolts. After it was configured, I found that the 3 restricted (daily type) pins were erase and that the 5 pins without restrictions remained intact. Initially I was unable to remove these pins or view the pin #s using Google Chrome. Later when I tried IE9, I was able to remove the 5 pins without restrictions and replace them with pins that I could view the name and pin #s.
