Schlage Link/Nexia & Vera2

I think I know the answer to my question, but wanted to hopefully get confirmation from someone out here that is already doing it.

In order to make the Schlage Link/Nexia products work with Vera2, do I need to purchase the paid subscription service from Schlage?

I are talking about the Schlage devices like locks, light modules etc or the actual Schlage Link device? All Schlage branded zwave devices work fine with Vera and without a subscription. There is no need for the Schlage Link Device.

So, I would just like to confirm this… Nexia brand doesn’t mean that you MUST purchase the monthly service from Schlage AND it will work with Vera2 just like other Z-wave lock?

Nexia is Schlages brand name for their service.
No, you do not need to use their service. All zwave locks will work with Vera and other zwave controllers.
