Schlage lever lock suitable for outside use?

We already have one of these on a garden shed door, and it works well and has held up fine.

What I’m wondering a bit is if the “inside” is reasonably weather-worthy. Considering getting another of these and using it on a 6-foot tall gate. That way Linda doesn’t have to stand on her tip-toes to reach over the top and release a manual latch on the inside.

I have 2 of these and 2 of the deadbolt ones. Even here in Florida I would not want to expose the inside parts to the elements as they don’t look like they were intended for that. In a more cold and snow rich environment I am sure the electronics would perish pretty quickly unless weatherized.
