Schlage Lever Lock not displaying status via Mobile

I actually switched to Vera2 over the holiday. It was painful, but it happened thanks to the forum. After getting it installed and operating, I put in the Smartphone interface and noticed that it does not display the title of the lock (ie. Front Door) and it does not display the status. Is there a fix for this??

That’s interesting. I started with Vera2 and my lock has never displayed like your picture.

Raskell…the first picture is from my mobile phone. Notice that the status does not display and the title of the lock is not showing either. I have attached a pic of my UI4 interface also.

not only that it does not have a name. If you have multiple locks how would you know what lock it is.

My mobile looks identical to my UI4, only that the boxes stack nicely vertical instead of horizontal. I am using an Android 2.1 phone. Wonder if this issue is browser specific?

You must not be using cp.mios.com/mobile

It always looks as benny does. the /mobile is truncated version of the dashboard

Zmistro,

You are correct, being a newer user, I only know about cp.mios.com/mobile. Where is there another mobile option? I would like to check out and see more there as well. Thanks.

I currently have UI2 with Vera2. The mobile browser does not show the name of the lock and now shows some bizarre Sqremote devices. When I last checked this a few months ago it looked fine. I usually use SQ Remote so I haven’t noticed it up until now.

It looks like I will soon be forced to switch to UI4. Not looking forward to it. :frowning:

I really like the truncated version as it seems to be faster. I have an EVO and I can access to full website via Mios.com.

Raskel are you telling me that the posted pic is from your mibile device and you were logged into http://cp.mios.com/mobile?

If so you are getting something that others do not get.

Screen.jpg in my post above is a screen shot from my Acer Liquid running Android 2.1. That’s why I was surprised to see the other format (which I have never seen).

I do login to cp.mios.com/mobile but once logged in, I hit the Dashboard Tab and get the mobile formatted screen (as posted). The SmartPhone tab seems to do nothing for me.

I like what I see and it works fine for me. I also use HomeBuddy and AutoHTN for comparisons. Both are Android friendly with HB being a bit ‘texty’ while hTn has a nice graphical feel to it for showing things like lights-on, etc…

I would assume you updated to 2.0? This added a device/plugin to Vera after upgrading.

I was getting a re-direct, sorry. I cleared by browser cache and was able to get to the same screen that bennynations showed origionally. To me, it seems like going to the mobile dashboard gives a better result than using the mobile phone app?

Huh, I am still confused about MOBILE DAASHBOARD.
How do you get this from http://cp.mios.com/mobil ?
Are you sayinf that when you type http://cp.mios.com/mobil you get a screen where you get a option for “dashboard”?
I don’t think you can. That is why when you cleared the cache you got what all others are getting. Please elaborate so we can get to the bottom of this.

Here is how it works for me.

Pictures show the steps.

So then I am thoroughly confused as to how you got the screen shot in your previous post even if you had a cache issue.

@zmistro

No mystery here. My phone was not getting to the /mobile login screen. It went to the cp.mios.com login instead. For me using a mobile phone remote login, the dashboard is actually responsive enough and gives better (more complete) information, so I use it.

Since up until today, I have never seen the real mobile screen, I thought what I was seeing was it.

Ahh. In your first posts you were pretty adamant and stated you were logging into xxxxx/mobile . I have never seen any dashboard option.
I thought I was loosing my mind.
This kind of stuff clogs up the trouble shooting. Someone posts a issue and then somone claims " It works for me"
