Schlage Deadbolt not sending notifications?

I just installed a Schlage Connect BE469 Touchscreen lock and am unable to receive specific notifications. Triggers do work however, I am unsure why I cannot receive all notifications. I am using Vera Alerts plugin and other notifications appear to work fine. The lock has firmware version 6.8 (apparently there were compatibility issues with earlier versions). UI 1.7.513, Android phone.

I tried every combination of notifications, and the only one I have gotten to work is Front Door Open/Closed. However, this notification maybe works 20% of the time, at best, and takes minutes to receive. All other notifications such as Bad Pin, Door didn’t lock properly, Low battery (i.e. the important ones) I am unable to get any notifications at all. Is this an actual problem with the Schlage lock, Vera UI, or other? Is anyone else with this lock successfully receiving notifications?

This is a pretty common lock. Response from anyone who has experience would be appreciated.

I have that lock installed and as far as I can tell in UI7 only the door open/close notifications works.
I read on this forums that UI5 was receiving more notifications, i.e. bad pin entered but I never actually downgraded the firmware to UI5.
Bottom lime is you can’t get much of notifications on UI7 from this lock and it seems to be a Vera issue.

You could create a scene that is triggered by the things you’re wanting.
Like a scene that is triggered by user 1 entering a pin. then the action is to send a notification.

I know the lock will trigger scenes because I use it daily. When i get home from work, entering my pin unlocks the door, disarms my security system, and turns on a few lights in the house.

Have you tried notifications for bad Pin or door didn’t lock properly? My do get notifications for door open/close, but that’s the only one. The important one to me is if someone is trying to disarm my system without permission

I have not tried that. I did read somewhere else that it didn’t send the bad pin notification until a bad pin was entered 4 times and the lock then disables the keypad for a minute or so. I can test later when I get home.

Tried and it did not work for me.

Bumping this thread as I’m sure I’m not the only one with this lock and this issue. Hopefully there is a workaround.

Old thread but I want to chime in that my 469, which I installed the other day, does NOT report bad pin. Im on UI5 beta (the one that works with Fibaro). The lock is on 6.8. Pin entered, lock/unlock notifications work. I called Schlage and the person I spoke said they don’t support these issues at all. Only hardware like the actual lock and moving parts. I’m not sure if he knew what his company supports as he kept telling me my supplier is the one to contact. Anyways I called Vera and left a message. Hopefully they’ll get back with me. I’ve read through a lot of threads and some people are getting their bad pin notifications.
