Currently I have a yale motorized deadbolt and a schlage lever. I have to use two different pins because my yale uses a 6 digit and schlage uses 4 digit. I found something under the advanced settings for the schlage lever in the dashboard that says minpinsize and maxpinsize. Right not they’re both set to 4. Does anyone know if I change the maxpinsize to 6 I can use a 6 digit pin code or will this not affect anything?

I re-read all of the information I have on the Schlage lever lock (http://link.schlage.com/Products/Documents/Product/PDF/lock_user_guide.pdf). It indicates that 4 digits are required for the pin and 6 digits required for the programming code (provided with the lock).
I don’t see any configurable option for the number of digits for the pin (always 4). What led you to the assumption that you could configure the digits in the pin?

If you go into the advanced options for the schlage lever and look under variables the first two variables you see is minpixsize and maxpinsize
