We have recently bought the Vera Gateway system to use to manage our air conditioning for a villa rental and are struggling to find out how we can set up schedules for the guest occupancy in advance so that the air conditioning isn’t cooling an empty villa when empty, but is at the correct temperature when we have guests in - any help appreciated as we are new to this.
We have recently being losing connection with the gateway and so don’t want to have to rely on doing this manually every time.
I have taken a look at this and it seems to look at scheduling daily activities. I want to use a calendar setting to change the thermostat settings at different periods of the year as I want to set up different settings depending on whether my villa has guests or is empty. If you can help me with this that would be great.
make a scene for the thermostate setting the device how u want it , then goto schedules tab when u are still in the new scene window. there is an option

its not that hard just make 2 schedules in the same new scene

Have a look at the Google Calendar Plugin in the apps, this may help you.
