Scenes have disappeared

Yes, I searched and came up with these three old threads…

But my situation is different. I had 3 scenes that yesterday were showing in UI5 and now are gone. I did NOT delete them, they just disappeared on their own. They still work when I call them up through Authomation, but do not appear in the UI when accessing from a regular PC. I can see them listed when I do…

The other posts give instructions on how to delete them using…

http://:3480/data_request?id=scene&action=delete&scene=<scene#>

However, I don’t want to delete them. I want them to show up in the UI like they did before yesterday. Can anyone help?

Maybe try a different browser, firefox or chrome. IE does not work well with my vera.

Log on to your Vera and click on the Dashboard > Overview do they appear in Scenes? If they do, there is a box to the right of the Scene Name with three dots “…”, click on this to modify the scene.

Run the command below,
http:///port_3480/data_request?id=user_data&output_format=xml

Do a search for “scene name” and do the scenes still appear?
Depending on your scene, the first line should be something like this:
<scene name=“Display Lights” id=“11onDashboard=“1” Timestamp=“1345365380” room=“0”>
<scene name=“Sensors Armed” id=“2” Timestamp=“1337184153” room=“0”>

Brientim,

Okay? I saw the scenes in the dashboard and edited and saved one of the missing ones, but it did not reappear under the automation tab. Then I tried entering the command you gave and I could find them in the list and they looked the same as my other scenes. At that point I was kind of stymied by what was going on and decided to close all instances of my browser (Firefox). Well, after restarting my browser and going back to the automation page, they are all there. Go figure? Really not sure what the glitch was, but will have to remember this one for next time. Thanks to you both.

I’m not too surprised. When I did a major re-org of some devices, changed rooms, etc. I started having devices showing up all over the place in wrong rooms, multiple rooms, etc.

Killing the tab sometimes worked, sometimes I had to restart the browser.
