You’ve enabled the configuration checkbox, good. If that is off then the panic commands do nothing. That’s a safety feature which dates back to UI4 when the panic buttons were on the main dashboard.
To incorporate a Panic action into a scene you have to add the action through the scene’s Advanced tab.
Action=RequestPanicMode
State=Fire
State=Police and State=Medical are also recognized. Case is significant.
You are in one of the less tested parts of the plugin. I added this feature at the request of another user but since my alarm is monitored I was loath to try it out on my unit. If you are in a position to test it then I would love some feedback.
Futzle thank you very much for the feedback, I will setup and run a test to trigger the smoke alarm and see if the monitoring company picks up the alert to the fire dept, turns off HVAC and unlocks the exit doors and turns off key equipment
I appreciate the config parameters. I am also planning to setup a trigger based on Co detector activation to turn on lights if that should go off…
CO2 and Smoke Alram Tested and triggers correctly!
I finally had a chance to run a test on the scene that tests if a trigger is set by either the smoke or CO2 detector to turn off my HVAC, unlock the doors and turn on the lights and it works correctly as well as sending text and email notifications about the event.
So you are good on the programming logic to do so.
Thanks
