Scene in which one light switch triggers another light switch to turn on/off

Hello looking for some help I created a scene in which when a light switch is turned on or off it triggers another light switch to turn on or off . when triggered from my iPhone app or from the interface on the computer it works as it should with no delay but when you try to trigger it directly from the switch it works on a pretty long delay or not at all . was wondering
if there any adjustments for this type of problem iam using a vera3 and the switches are leviton .
thanks any help would be appreciated

Leviton switches should support instant status and update it’s status to Vera right away. With the exception of a few models. What model switches are they?

It is a Leviton DZS15

The Leviton DZS15 is one of the models that does NOT support Instant Status. That’s the reason for the delay you are seeing, Vera isn’t aware of the status change until Vera polls the switch a minute or so later. Sorry.

There are two possible resolutions to this:

  1. Replace your switch with one that supports Instant Status.

  2. If your switch is close enough to Vera so that it can communicate directly with Vera, without routing through an intermediate node, there is a pseudo Instant Status hack, created by forum member @oti@, that might help you.

Thanks for your your response I’ll check out the pseudo-instant status hack and see if I can figure it out thanks again
