I want to do a scene where it turns up the thermostat for an hour then goes back to whatever it was at before. Is that possible? I don’t see where you can set a duration for a scene. Thanks.

In the Scene Editor … Click the Schedule Button … Then Click the Menu next to the name … than Manage Delays
You will have an immediate Schedule and one or more delayed schedules.
Then when you go to the Devices tab select the Menu next to the names (Indicates which interval) and then you can specify which devices to send commands to for that interval.
[hr]
NOTE:If Vera restarts during this interval … the latter parts will NOT run. If this is critical use the Program Logic or Countdown Timer plugins to manage delays that work in the context of Vera restarts.
I’m not understanding this. I want to manually activate a scene an hour before we take a shower that turns the thermostat up to 80 degrees. Then an hour later it goes back to the normal schedule. Does that make sense? I can’t figure out how to tell MCV that the scene runs for an hour then resets to previous settings.
It is all managed by scene delays. Reread the above posts.

as others said, select “immediate” increase the value of the tstat as you like, then do a “manage delays”, add a 1 hr delay, choose “1 hour” instead of immediate. You’ll find a small arrow next to the device you changed; if you click the arrow it will imply returning to previous setting. To be sure it was programmed correctly, go to the “advance” tab it should show that the device will be changed, then after 1 hour it will go back to previous settings.
Thanks, I think I have it now. I’ll give it a try tonight. Thanks for the help, it wasn’t very intuitive to understand how MCV does this.
