i purchased a cooper aspire rfwcd5 scene controller with the assumption that it had a direct interface with Vera. The plan was to control sonos groups and play states, not so much operate lighting scenes.
I now have a better understanding of their purpose, but that doesn’t mean I am quitting.
The new plan is to buy 5 Zwave scene capable switches that do nothing more than turn on and off by toggling the cooper scene control.
I can have Vera monitor the state of the dummy switches, and trigger scenes or pleg scenes.
Anyone want to tell me if there is a better way, cheaper way… Has anyone attempted a plugin for the aspire controllers (then led control could be possible). I am open to another wall controller as well, but I am using aspire elsewhere.
