I have been trying to figure out on my VeraLite how to create a trigger that could be sent from my lock to the thermostat to set an away tempature when the lock button is pressed on the lock?

I am new to VeraLite and I like it so far - I just can’t figure out the whole trigger process and have not located any details about how to do what I need to do. Is this even possible?? I already have both devices registered in my VeraLite.

VeraLite is UI5, right?

In UI4, it would look like this… create a new scene, and modify items under the “Events” and “Commands” window to look like these:

I am using a VeraLite U15 - I don’t seem to have screens that look like that. There is an option Automation and then New Scene. There seems to be no obvious choice for the next steps - no devices to pick.

Those screen shots are of UI4. Here is a screen shot of my lock button trigger in UI5.
