I would like to be able to control my rolladin shatters a.k.a. hurricane shutters with Vera. They are low-voltage switches with up, down and neurtral positions.
I also have hurricane shutters on my home in Florida and would like to use Vera to control them locally and remotely. However, I believe my switches (up, neutral and down) are 120 volt and not low voltage like yours. I will check my switches this weekend and report back next week if I am wrong.
on the surface, my switches look like a regular 110 V rocker switch. But when I removed the plate, wires I’m more like low-voltage wires.
There is no three position switch out there. You would need a Zwave window /shade controller.
would that work with heavy steel window shutters? If so, who makes such a controller?
