I had the same issue and purchased one that is available here in the U.S. for use with Rollertrol shades. Once i purchased it i realized it was the wrong model. Someone at Indigo where i bought it suggested that i just update the firmware and it worked. They seem to be the same hardware with different firmware. Hope this helps.

You mean you bought a RFXrec433 and just updated the firmware? That is the only device available on the Indigo site. It’s just a receiver and can’t control anything.
Upon further investigation on the Indigo site, they plainly state the RFXtrx433 transceiver is not FCC approved, hence why you can’t buy it here in the states.
I want to eventually control Somfy blind motors… looks like I need to find a “workaround” to get my hands on this unit.
That seems to be the only strategy at the moment, order from Rollertrol Canada and get them to ship to USA. But the model on their site doesn’t indicate it’s the newer “E” model which is Somfy compatible.
I tried to order one from Rollertrol Canada, and their paypal checkout from a paypal account (not a credit card) isn’t working. So e-mailed them about a fix…
I should have been clearer in my original post, my interest in the “E” model is that they claim Somfy support. Has anyone here achieved Somfy control using their RFXtrx433 non-E model??
They sent me an invoice, so got it ordered and the description indicates it is an E. I have Qmotion blinds that run at the same 433.92 Mhz, so that is my interest in the E model.

So you’re in the USA? If so, what payment method ended up succeeding?
