I was wondering what is the purpose of these:

Could I use it as ‘mailbox’ sensor or ringbell sensor for instance?
I think you need this as an add on the RFXCom LAN or similar to be able to transmit, and its no good on its own!
If you are looking for the best way to integrate other devices that use 433MHz, then the RFXtrx433 USB is probably the best bang for the buck!
