Hi, I have just got a veralite and RFx and whilst I’ve got (I think) the plug-in setup ok, I can’t see how to change any of the RFx settings, e.g enable/disable protocols or how to add a light, plug, etc!? :
I’ve looked at various posts without luck, might well be cos’ I’m new to this but I’d really appreciate some pointers

Hi,
If you have it all installed correctly you will have a ‘RFX Controller’ device in your DEVICES tab.
To make changes to it you just need to click it’s ‘wrench’ icon and you can then configure it how you wish.

In this example I have set it up to use LightwaveRF, but you can select which ever protocols you wish.

Hi Mark, thanks very much I’ve managed to get things working now - I think its because I had installed RFxCOM not RFXrtx, d’Oh! :
My next issue is sending http commands from Demopad (iOS app) but as a GET command which vera’s not happy with and neither is Hercules that I’ve been using to test commands. Anyway, I won’t go into it now as I’ve already posted under the subject “Demopad”.

I’ve managed to get the RFx 433 setup and running on my veralite and have dimmers and switches working I’d like to get the lightwaverf energy monitor connected too but unsure how to go about this…
me too…can’t get the energy monitor working on veralite, any advice?
Remark regarding Mark’s guide: no need to reboot the Vera, just pushing the reload button at top right is enough.
The LWRF energy monitor is 868MHz and therefore not supported by the RFXtrx433 (433.92MHz).
The OWL CM180i is supported.
