Restoring from Server Backup

My powers of search must be lousy today!!! I have a Vera3 that has been in a sudden constant reboot cycle. I removed what looked like the offending plugin, and it’s stable again. Assuming there was an update to the plugin (auto update on) that caused the instability.

So, that aside… how the heck do I restore from a (Mios) server side backup? I click on the link, and it downloads a compressed file… When i extract, i get a bunch of files/folders.

Where do i go from here?

EDIT: Derp. Just select the .tgz file and hit restore. No need to extract it first.

Don’t unzip the file. Once you’ve downloaded, you need to go to Vera → Setup → Backup. There you will see a restore section.

Click browse and find the backup file that you downloaded.

Once you’ve selected the backup file, click the Restore button.

Yep… thanks, figured it out. funny that no where in the directions does it say that. You download a server backup and see it’s zipped… first think (at least i did) think is that you need to unpack it
