reset to default serial setting with unplug power supply !! a bug !?

hi guys
I have a vera edge and I design a serial gateway with a arduino . all over is true (gateway , program , plugin , devices and settings ) this is work correctly until when unplug power supply . when I do unplug power supply , the configure of serial port is reset and back to default settings . every time unplug power supply serial setting is reset and I have to set again and again and again…
is it a bug in vera or there are a solution for this issue ?

There was a firmware update specifically for the USB port on Edge. Contact Support, they will send you a link to put in the upgrade dialog to fix the USB port (assuming you are doing USB to serial port). (Note this will not update the z-wave or main Edge firmware or UI7, it just does a firmware update for the USB chip).

You may also want to make sure you are using one of the known good USB to Serial Cables, this is the one someone recommended me here on the forums: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006AA04K0?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage

I connected to vera support and I explain this problem but they are no answer to me for a week !
but you are sure ? there is a link for upgrade usb port and resolved this bug ?
