Are you looking for Users & Account Info > Unit Settings > Secure Vera?
Be aware that this setting is little more than security theatre, because the port 3840 server is still accessible without any password.

I found that setting - I assumed that meant you had to go through the portal.
I was hoping for “enable local HTTP AUTH” which the setting in the subject is supposed to do - I think they’ve changed something…
The other thing I notice is that now I can ssh in as root, I can add some iptables firewall to it.
I might even be able to install a minimal webserver and do the proxy locally - but if not, I have another system I can bounce it through.
