Hello,
I’m try to determine when someone is in bed. I’m looking into pressure sensitive “bed” switches and thinking about attaching one to a Remotec ZFM-80’s external switch. Can I configure the Vera Edge check the state of the external switch?
Any other ideas for bed switches are welcome.
Thanks,
Howie

You would probably be better served by attaching your pressure pad switch to a door/window sensor, such as the Schlage RS100HC Door and Window Sensor which has contacts for an external switch/sensor, or to a Fibaro universal sensor. The universal sensor is pretty much the same as the guts of a Fibaro door/window sensor.
Thanks for heads up. At this point, I don’t even know if the pad is a switch itself or if it just goes high or low and the chip detects the voltage. We’ll see…
