Remotec ZDS-100US Dimmer / Light

Hello,

I have moved to a Vera Edge system and have managed to get most of my old vivint equipment working on the new platform. I have 2 Remotec ZDS-100US light controllers that I am trying to setup.

I have tried “add new device” a few different products and the generic Z-wave. I plugged it in beside the Vera and hit the button the front, it won’t recognize or add it.

I did “remove” the device from my old vivint system prior to decommissioning it.

Any thoughts or tips???

First, make sure that your unit is not part of the Vinint ZDS100US recall.

When a device won’t include, you should do an exclude. Even if you previously excluded it, exclude again and then try to include using Generic Z-Wave device.

These are the replacements for the recall, thanks for the heads up though.

It took a few cycles but the exclude worked.
