Red flashing light on Philio 3-in-1 sensor

I’ve just installed a Philio PSP01 3-in-1 sensor. It’s working OK, but sometimes when it senses motion, a red light comes on. Then other times it doesn’t.

It still works OK, it’s just annoying.

Does anyone know why?
