Hi,

I didn’t see anywhere a chapter on user manual refering to the record destination of the video stream, so i have 2 questions :

  • On user manual (http://docs5.mios.com/doc.php?language=1&manual=1&platform=0&page=ip_cameras) there is only the JPEG format, but could you confirm MJPEG works, cause my camera could stream MJPEG.
  • How does the record works ? I mean when a sensor detect something and ask the camera to record the scenes, where the video is going ? Could i set an FTP server ? On micasaverde server ?

Ok i found an answer for the first question, MJPEG is supported.

But i still do not understand how the record destination works for capture or video …

Where the files are going ?

I would check if your camera software has that option built in already.

the camera’s sensor is bad, so i want to use vera and my z-wave sensor to detect something.

Then i want to take snapshot.

Maybe there is a luup code to take snapshot or record video ?

You can record video / take stills when a sensor is triggered.

how can you do that?

I can use that for the image, but for the video.

How do you access the files on their servers? What site are you talking about I have not been able to locate them please attach a link to the site and maybe what menu it would be located under.

maybe the day we will have to see the recorded video, we will have to pay for a premium suscription to MCV ;D
