First post and it’s similar to other peoples problems…I just can’t get it to work. I’m generally well versed in IT, it’s the field I work in but this is causing me headaches.
When I installed my veralite for the first time it upgraded the firmware. I followed the instructions to downgrade to UI5 but now it looks like I am running two different versions, 5 and 6, see attached. What I want is to run UI5 so I can use the 3rd party apps and plugins, none of which I am able to get running at the moment.
I have got very confused by the logins required and now seemingly have two different accounts! could this be the problem? if so, how do I delete accounts?
This is the most unintuitive thing I’ve ever had to try to get to grips with.
UI5 and UI6 (and the new UI7) use different accounting systems.
It’s OK to have multiple accounts … but only one will work … the one one associated with the version you are currently running on your Vera.
I have been having the same problem, downgrade to UI5, and after downgrading, find I am still on UI6.
Others have said that their Vera account was marked for automatic upgrading. I assume mine is too. So my Vera downgrades, then automatically upgrades itself.
I guess you have to contact Micasaverde support and ask them to turn off the automatic upgrade option on your account. I imagine I will get around to doing that eventually.
