Has anyone gotten the RC-80BZ thermostat to pair. I cannot get it to pair. No indication on the dongle that it ever pairs. The manual says to hit the Hold button on the thermostat to pair but I get nothing on the dongle.
Try holding down the button on Vera’s dongle for 3 seconds until it blinks fast. Then the dongle will reset any devices nearby. So activate the thermostat while the dongle is in ‘reset mode’. Then tap the dongle’s button again to turn it off, and tap it again for the slow blinking ‘include mode’, and try again to pair. Does that work?
This did work. I had tried the reset before but I guess I missed the re-pair after the reset. Thanks
