After waiting months, my Pi got lost by UPS somewhere! 
It’s working fine for me.
That said, if you’ve already got a Vera unit, you could just take the XRF Module, slap it into a Sparkfun USB-Xbee explorer adapter and interface up the devices directly (in Lua)
Keep the RaspberryPi for something special 8)
Must be some sort of DNS issue at work for me. I’ll try it when I get home instead!
I would’ve kept the Pi for something nice if it hadn’t have been lost by UPS
